It’s been in the back of my mind for several years now to run for city councilor, and I feel that now, the timing is right.

Me and my family have a genuine passion for the community of Loviisa. As a parent and a son, I can appreciate the utmost importance of living in a community that is safe and close to the nature, a city where we can find good restaurants, a diverse cultural offering and a rich history to be shared and tell, a community that offers the amenities young and older families require.

I want to do my part to keep Loviisa great and I see opportunities to make it even better. I also see significant challenges coming before our city, and so I am seeking a seat on Council because I want to roll up my sleeves, and fight the city’s fight, helping Loviisa continue to thrive. I want to be one of the decision makers, who develop the future for our community, ensure its alignment with your values, and support the vision that you have for the future of your family, your business and yourself.

The time is right for unique perspectives that reflect our growing and diverse community. My experience in Project Management, is needed so that we have that reach of understanding to ensure when decisions are made at the council table, they are a reflection of the entire community. I am also not afraid to speak my mind or ask the tough questions that will be needed at the council table because I want to be the voice of the community. In the end, I am always thoughtful, transparent and honest in decision-making processes.

I have had many conversations with people regarding the state of affairs in Loviisa throughout the years, and I have been active in local newspaper, giving my thoughts and opinion about issues that affect our city. I would be honored and excited to represent the people of Loviisa.
